On March 17, the Marxist Institute held a special meeting of professors responsible for discipline construction, and all responsible professors, discipline leaders and discipline secretaries of the college attended the meeting.

Vice President Huang Ni introduced the notice and requirements of the university on the cultivation and construction of new doctoral degree authorization points to be added in 2022, and elaborated on the specific arrangements for the cultivation and construction of doctoral degree authorization points in the first-level discipline of Marxist theory in 2022. She pointed out that the college is the main responsibility unit for the cultivation and construction of degree authorization points, and it is necessary to select the benchmarking school in accordance with the "one hospital, one policy", closely focus on the four secondary disciplines of Marxist theory, determine the academic leaders and backbone teachers, find out the gaps and deficiencies that exist, and further form a construction plan for the existing problems. She stressed that the discipline leaders and discipline responsibility professors should further consolidate their responsibilities, give full play to their enthusiasm and initiative in discipline construction, and do a good job in cultivating and building the first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization point of Marxist theory in the college.

At the meeting, the leaders of each discipline spoke separately, explaining the discipline leaders and backbone teachers who were initially sorted out in the direction of the discipline, and reported on the academic monographs to be funded by the direction and the academic reports to be invited by experts.
